Mira River Park, Albert Bridge

The Mira River Park is a camping park owned and operated by Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources.  STE-MAC Engineering was hired to provide management services during the Phase II re-development and upgrading of the park.  Operations included new roads and trails, new electrical service conduit, new water lines, larger campsites, asphalt paving of access roads, removal of old buildings, and two new on-site sewer systems.  STE-MAC Engineering consulted with the contractor, utility companies, and Department of Natural Resources management staff to complete the work according to the plans, inspect work as it was completed, and exercise cost controls.  Phase II is expected to open for public camping in 2015.
